Exercise and me have had a difficult time lately. It feels great to lift weights and to get some cardio in but my knees don't like me when I do. See, I have torn meniscus in both knees and arthritis. It hurts to do too much. I can walk a lot slower than I would like, but cannot run. The elliptical is great but I don't have one and since Covid, no gym to visit to get on one. Not sure if I can bike, it is about the bend in the leg/knee that hurts. I can do some lifting but then have to go ice my knee. I have definitely gotten out of shape and feel a bit depressed when I think about that too. So, you ask why not get surgery? I have met with a surgeon and was told I am not a good candidate so I just continue on my way. I have begun to walk, albeit slowly, on the treadmill the last week or so a couple times. I am going to continue with that going forward. I know losing some weight would help me in many ways!
